Cellarperson Position:

Classification: Full Time

Summary: Hangar 24 Craft Brewery in Redlands, CA has an immediate opening for a full-time Cellarperson. This is a unique opportunity to become a part of one of the fastest growing craft breweries in the country along with working and living in Southern California.

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • CIP of fermentation vessels/bright tanks
  • Beer transfers/prep for packaging
  • Fermentation monitoring
  • DE Filtration of beer
  • Lab work
  • Assisting brewers with day to day tasks
  • Upkeep & cleanliness of cellar

Qualified Candidates will possess the following:

  • Working to high quality standards with and without direct supervision

Chain and National Accounts Manager:

Classification: Full Time/Salary
Reports To: General Manager, Sales and Distribution

Summary: Chain Accounts Manager, will be responsible for managing multiple major accounts to achieve efficient and profitable sales of Hangar 24 Craft Beers to targeted levels. Specific responsibilities includes supervising, leading, and assisting sales personnel in selling the companies craft beer line to targeted retail markets. The position will also create proposals, negotiate agreements, establish promotional pricing / merchandising programs to maintain a strong overall relationship with retail chain customers. In addition position will interface with other departments as needed to support entire customer account base and resolve any retail chain account issues that may arise.

Key areas of Responsibility:
    • Direct efforts to analyze sales / share / pricing performance, drill into root causes of performance gaps. Work with cross-functional Sales & Distribution / Wholesaler groups to develop action plans to address gaps, and track results to measure success.
    • Establish and support routine management processes for analyzing issues / gaps, creating actions and measuring results. (includes on site account visits ) Communicate through monthly performance review with Sales Management / Wholesaler Market Managers and wholesaler representatives.
    • Direct pricing efforts throughout Hangar 24 distribution network for frontline changes, promotions, annual planning, gaps vs. competition, wholesaler pricing exceptions, and margin pool management. (post offs)
    • Develop post off price promotion calendar according to guidelines and track performance using available tools and processes.
    • Responsible for communication of performance across Hangar 24 distribution network (through standard weekly/monthly processes and material), with full understanding of results, gaps, factors & actions.
    • Measure impact of wholesaler and retailer execution (distribution, displays, ad features) on sales and market share.
    • Track and maintain forecasts for chain / national accounts STR's and promotion expense. (post off sales results)
Qualifications:
    To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to excel at each duty outlined above and have the following knowledge, skills, ability and background:

    General Requirements
      • Business experience in Statistics, Economics, Math, Computer Science, Business, IT or related field.
      • 2 or more years of sales & pricing analytic experience within consumer product industry. (beverage industry preferred)
      • Solid understanding of chain / national accounts retailer structure, price promotions and execution strategies.
      • Experience with syndicated data analysis and studies. (IRI data)
      • Outstanding communication, negotiation and presentation skills. (with national accounts / chain buyers)
      • History of successfully managing multiple high priority projects simultaneously.
      • Solid technical skills across wide variety of tools and data platforms.
      • Strong ability to turn data into actionable analysis.
      (IRA data and assist with setting sales teams objectives)

      Education/Experience:
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
      • Strong presentation skills required.
      • Excellent phone etiquette skills required, as some of the business communication is done over the phone.
      • Ability to multi-task and maintain data accuracy is required.
      • Computer literate with a high degree of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. IRA Data experience highly desirable.
      • Four-year degree preferred. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Technology is highly desirable.
      • Two to four years' experience as an Account Manager or equivalent position, with personnel management experience. Industry or channel experience is required.
      • Three to five years' experience selling into major retail accounts.

Atmosphere and Safety Coordinator Description:

Classification: Part Time/Hourly, Non-Exempt
Reports To: Tasting Room Manager

Purpose: Providing a welcoming and positive environment to customers in the brewery.

Key areas of Responsibility:
  • Interfacing with customers
  • Monitoring customers alcohol consumption while in the tasting room and on the patio
  • Assisting bar staff members in caring for customers who may be overly intoxicated
  • Assisting in conflict resolution
  • Escorting customers to their cars and/or taxis when needed

  • Lead Beer tenders
  • Shift Supervisors
  • Brewers
  • Sales and Distribution representatives
  • Customers

Hangar 24 Host:

Classification: Full Time/Hourly
Reports To: Marketing Manager

Purpose: Provide customers and potential customers with a welcoming, informative Hangar 24 experience by facilitating tours in the Tasting Room and hosting off-site, Hangar 24 sponsored events.

Key areas of Responsibility:
    In the Tasting Room
    • Greet and interact with customers who come into the Tasting Room
    • Guide customers on tours of the brewing area, cellars and bottling room
    • Answer brewery, brewing process and company related questions
    Off-site, Hangar 24 sponsored events and festivals
    • Transport beer and marketing materials to events
    • Set up jockey boxes and table displays
    • Engage with customers throughout the event/festival, increasing their interest in and knowledge of the Hangar 24 brand
    • Disassemble display and return materials to Hangar 24

Qualifications:
    • Evening and weekend availability

Pro-Sales Representative - New Business
On Hold

Classification: Full Time/Hourly
Reports To: I.E. and O.C. Sales Managers

Summary: The Pro-Sales Representative is responsible for new craft beer business prospecting and sales within the Hangar 24 designated distribution territory. The primary objective of the Pro-Sales Representative is to aggressively seek new business relationships and close profitable sales while maintaining customer satisfaction. Core responsibilities include telephone cold calls; follow up calls, emails, generating fellow sales rep leads, giving craft beer sales presentations and craft beer style samplings.

Key areas of Responsibility:
  • Identify and contact new Hangar 24 distribution prospective customers
  • Maintain regular contact with existing Hangar 24 distribution customers
  • Generate sales presentations via geographical sales data research
  • Maintain working knowledge of craft beer styles and profiles
  • Meet prospecting and sales goals / objectives set by sales managers
  • Negotiation of final sale price of product (discounts and additions) within company guidelines
  • Maintain detailed records of assigned sales efforts in route accounting software (EoStar)
  • Conduct educational beer samplings and promotional activity with prospective decision makers.
  • Other duties may be assigned by Sales Managers and Management

    • Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers with open minded resolution.
    • Ability to develop craft beer sales presentations that conform to prospective customer's style and business format.
