Monday June 3rd at 7pm, Hangar 24 Craft Brewery will host a Formation Flight Night, pairing Hangar 24 Craft Beer with gourmet ice cream from a la Minute. A la Minute makes their ice cream with organic local ingredients, instantly frozen with liquid nitrogen. Using liquid nitrogen to make ice cream minimizes the size of ice crystals and results in a much creamier ice cream, and with gourmet local ingredients, it makes a truly unique treat.
The private event will be held on the Hangar 24 Patio and hosted by Ryan Berk, chef/owner at a la Minute, and Joe Savage, Production Manager/Brewer at Hangar 24 Craft Brewery. Here are the pairings:
Beer - Belgian Summer Ale
Ice Cream - Spiced Columbus Hop Poached Pear Gelato with a Slice of Pear
Beer – Local Fields Palmero
Ice Cream - California Date Custard topped with a Kashmir Saffron & Clover Honey Reduction
Beer – Local Fields Essence
Ice Cream - Cedar Smoked Meyer Lemon Gelato accompanied with a Buzz Button
Beer - Chocolate Porter
Ice Cream - Espresso & Chocolate Custard drizzled with Bacon Caramel and Espresso Grounds
Beer - Double IPA
Ice Cream - Double IPA Grapefruit & Honey Sorbet topped with a Kaffir Lime Leaf Foam
Beer – Barrel Roll #3- Pugachev’s Cobra
Ice Cream - Whiskey Spiced Granita paired with a Barley Refined Chocolate sprinkled with a Columbus Hop Infused Sugar
